Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automotive right into a concrete safety barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service stated.
A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.
The automotive slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers stated.
Video reveals a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance throughout the street from a Secret Service guard post, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the road.
There have been two juveniles within the automotive. Each have been taken to a hospital and at the moment are in stable situation, officers said. We don't know their exact ages.
They’re expected to face costs.
D.C. police are investigating.
