A girl visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers stated Tuesday.
The 25-year-old woman, who was visiting from Ohio, was not recognized in a information launch from the park.
The girl approached the feminine bison Monday morning after it came close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, near Previous Devoted geyser, the park mentioned.

An estimated 2,300 to five,500 bison reside at the park, and so they have injured more people than another animal, the park mentioned.
When the visitor got here inside 10 toes of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 toes within the air, the park mentioned.
The lady had puncture wounds and different accidents and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service mentioned. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Two other individuals have been also near the animal when it gored the woman, the park stated. The discharge didn’t say if they have been injured.
The park warned people to remain 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and at the very least 100 yards from bears and wolves.
