TAMPA, Fla. — A Florida man has been sentenced to life in prison for traveling to Vietnam to sexually abuse minors he met online, according to officials.

The U.S. Division of Justice says Christopher Edwin Day, 52, traveled two totally different times in 2015 and 2016 to Vietnam from Florida to have sexual encounters with minor Vietnamese boys. Courtroom information say he flew forwards and backwards disguising himself as an English teacher.
A few of the boys, in line with the DOJ, were lured with promises of money and items. Others launched him as their English teacher.
The Tampa Bay Information says Homeland Safety investigated the case in Tampa and in Ho Chi Minh City. It was a part of Mission Secure Childhood, which was an effort to seek out child sex abuse began in 2006 by the DOJ.
“The laws of the USA will nonetheless catch as much as baby predators who even journey to overseas international locations to sexually abuse minor kids. Day pleaded responsible to 2 counts of travel with intent to interact in illicit sexual conduct and two counts of tried coercion and enticement of a minor into illegal sexual activity, in response to the DOJ. Day has been sentenced to life in jail.
