Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of consuming Large Macs each day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum Information Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Huge Mac streak started on Could 17, 1972.

“I’ve only missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I rely every Large Mac. I’ve counted every Huge Mac I’ve eaten my whole life,” Gorske stated.

Gorske eats two Huge Macs a day.

“All via life right here, lots of people stated, ‘You’ll be dead earlier than you attain 50 years of consuming Huge Macs.’ I guess I proved them mistaken,” he said.

His son shouldn't be stunned at his father’s persistence.

“We all the time went to McDonald’s with my dad and had glad meals. I always cherished my rooster nuggets, and my brother all the time liked his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an everyday life sort of factor for us,” he stated.

Gorske’s son has more of a diverse weight loss plan.

“I used to eat hen nuggets every single day. I used to eat cheeseburgers day by day, but ultimately you just get sick of it. I don’t know how he does it, however he certainly does,” he said.

Gorske says he will proceed consuming Big Macs with a Coca-Cola on the aspect till he dies.

“Loads of instances folks will say, ‘You appear like I’m consuming a Large Mac for the first time,’” Gorske stated. “I assume that’s how I really feel sometimes. They’re that good to me, and there’s really nothing else I’d rather eat,” he stated.
