Meta-Elemente geben einen Gesamteindruck via Content einer Seite, jedoch setzte sich bald raus, dass die Anwendung er Hinweise nicht zuverlässig war, da die Wahl der verwendeten Schlagworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Darstellung des Seiteninhalts spiegeln kann. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in Meta-Elementen vermochten so irrelevante Internetseiten bei speziellen Suchen listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller vielfältige Merkmale innerhalb des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu beherrschen, dass die Seite besser in den Serps gefunden wird.[3] Da die frühen Suchmaschinen im Netz sehr auf Kriterien abhängig waren, die ausschließlich in Fingern der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr labil für Straftat und Manipulationen in der Positionierung. Um bessere und relevantere Vergleichsergebnisse in den Suchergebnissen zu erhalten, mussten wir sich die Anbieter der Internet Suchmaschinen an diese Faktoren einstellen. Weil der Gewinn einer Recherche davon abhängig ist, relevante Ergebnisse der Suchmaschine zu den gestellten Keywords anzuzeigen, vermochten ungeeignete Vergleichsergebnisse darin resultieren, dass sich die Benutzer nach weiteren Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten für die Suche im Web umblicken. Die Auflösung der Suchmaschinen im Netz vorrat in komplexeren Algorithmen für das Rangfolge, die Kriterien beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur nicht ohne Rest durch zwei teilbar leicht beherrschbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin entwickelten mit „Backrub“ – dem Stammvater von Yahoo – eine Recherche, die auf einem mathematischen Matching-Verfahren basierte, der anhand der Verlinkungsstruktur Webseiten gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus einfluss besitzen ließ. Fantastic videos team. I’m in the process of building a Shopify store with a friend and I had a question that I hoped you could help answer. Would it be better from an SEO and ads perspective to have a product for each colour variant? We want to sell watch straps, we will only start with 14 products but each product has around 4 colours and several sizes. So I am wondering what you think would be a better strategy to start out with? One product and several variants in it, or one product per colour and size variants in each colour? Maybe I’m I’ve thinking it but when I go to Google I see one brand with multiple listings when they have multiple products for each colour and the others brands with one colour and multiple variants get less listings which makes me think a colour per listing could lead to more traffic and more sales.

I am obviously in the minority but to me this is far from a beginners guide, he mentions doing things with a kinda assumption you have any idea what he's talking about then just moves on to the next thing, where is the HOW for each of these points. An example being the Product Category. I am on Shopify and TBH I have no idea what he is talking about. There are Products, Titles, Collections none of this seems to translate the language he is speaking
