Teen arrested after mom observed son had gun at Texas faculty drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Gray Information) - A number of businesses responded to a center faculty in Texas Friday morning after an adolescent’s mother noticed he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mother was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Center Faculty round 9 a.m. when she seen the firearm. The teen never made it inside the constructing, and he ran from the college.
The Lubbock Police Division responded to the area together with several different agencies in an try to search out him.
The teen was found close to the varsity’s campus and taken into custody.
Authorities said the 15-year-old might be going through a felony weapons charge.
Police say there was no risk made to the varsity or anybody inside the college.
O.L. Slaton Middle Faculty was briefly placed on lockout on account of the incident.
