Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of consuming Massive Macs day by day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum Information Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Big Mac streak began on Could 17, 1972.

“I’ve solely missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I depend every Massive Mac. I’ve counted every Massive Mac I’ve eaten my entire life,” Gorske stated.

Gorske eats two Huge Macs a day.

“All through life here, a lot of people stated, ‘You’ll be dead before you attain 50 years of eating Huge Macs.’ I assume I proved them mistaken,” he stated.

His son is not shocked at his father’s persistence.

“We at all times went to McDonald’s with my dad and had completely satisfied meals. I always beloved my chicken nuggets, and my brother always beloved his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an everyday life type of thing for us,” he stated.

Gorske’s son has more of a diverse weight loss program.

“I used to eat chicken nuggets every single day. I used to eat cheeseburgers day-after-day, however ultimately you just get sick of it. I don’t know the way he does it, but he actually does,” he mentioned.

Gorske says he'll continue consuming Huge Macs with a Coca-Cola on the aspect till he dies.

“A lot of times folks will say, ‘You appear to be I’m eating a Massive Mac for the first time,’” Gorske stated. “I assume that’s how I really feel typically. They’re that good to me, and there’s really nothing else I’d slightly eat,” he said.
