Uvalde police, school district now not cooperating with Texas probe of capturing: Sources

The Uvalde Police Division and the Uvalde Unbiased College District police pressure are now not cooperating with the Texas Department of Public Security's investigation into the bloodbath at Robb Elementary School and the state's evaluate of the law enforcement response, a number of law enforcement sources tell ABC Information.

The Uvalde police chief and a spokesperson for the Uvalde Unbiased Faculty District didn't instantly reply to requests for remark from ABC Information.

Reached by ABC News, a spokesperson for the Texas Division of Public Safety said, "The Uvalde Police Division and Uvalde CISD Police have been cooperating with investigators. The chief of the Uvalde CISD Police supplied an preliminary interview but has not responded to a request for a follow-up interview with the Texas Rangers that was made two days in the past."

Last Tuesday's assault, one of the worst college shootings in U.S. history, left 19 youngsters and two adults useless.
