New York sex worker Angelina Barini sentenced to 30 years for fatally drugging 4 men

Between July and August 2019, sex employee Angelina Barini met with her purchasers at motels in New York Metropolis before giving them dangerous doses of drugs that incapacitated them. Then, she would rob the lads and go away with their private belongings.
4 of them, together with a prominent Italian chef, died of overdoses from the medication, courtroom records state.
In August, Barini pleaded guilty to distributing medicine that killed her shoppers, together with fentanyl and gamma-butyrolactone, recognized for inflicting irrational habits, extreme sickness, coma and loss of life.
Last week, a decide sentenced the 43-year-old Barini to 30 years in prison.

Barini met her first sufferer at a motel in Astoria, Queens, on July 4, 2019. There, she gave the man fentanyl-laced medication and left the room. Police found him dead hours later, court information state.
Per week later, on July 11, Barini had an encounter with another man at a motel in Woodside, Queens, the place she gave him fentanyl-laced drugs. The man also died of a drug overdose, a grievance states.
The following month, on Aug. 5, Barini met her third sufferer in Faculty Point, Queens, and again gave him fentanyl-laced medication that led to a deadly overdose, prosecutors said.
Later that month, on Aug. 18, Barini met her final recognized victim, Andrea Zamperoni — a chef for the high-end restaurant chain Cipriani — inside an Elmhurst, Queens, motel room, where she drugged him with gamma-butyrolactone, commonly known as a “date rape” drug. The man died shortly afterward.
That day, court information state, Barini repeatedly tried to dispose of the sufferer’s body. Barini wrapped Zamperoni’s body in bleach-stained sheets and positioned it inside a trash bin, in response to prosecutors. Zamperoni was reported lacking on Aug. 21, prosecutors said. That very same day, the New York Metropolis Police Division found the person’s body in the motel room.
In accordance with courtroom information, when authorities knocked on the room’s door, Barini opened and swiftly shut it. As soon as investigators made it into the room, they observed a robust odor — that of a decomposing body and burning incense, the complaint states.
Barini advised investigators that “she did not do it,” but additionally that her “pimp” made her do it. Contained in the motel room, authorities found several gadgets, including a bank card belonging to Zamperoni and a glass pipe used to smoke drugs, courtroom records state.
When authorities later interrogated her, Barini stated Zamperoni had agreed to pay her for sex. When she woke up, Barini stated, he was unresponsive and bleeding from the nose and mouth. Her pimp, she added, would not let her name the police.
Fernando Dallorso, the general supervisor of Cipriani in New York, instructed the New York Instances that Zamperoni was a “dedicated hard worker” who cooked six days a week and “never missed a day of work.”
The kitchen workers mourned the loss, Dallorso advised the Instances.
“Everybody within the kitchen right now is heartbroken, from the dishwasher to the chef,” Dallorso stated.
