BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A man was arrested Friday after multiple signs saying "school shooter" were found in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Safety announced. Man Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces multiple charges.

Hanson allegedly positioned the signs around the communities, the Division of Security said, however they decided there isn't a credible risk presently.
The New Hampshire Division of Safety is investigating signs that read 'college shooter!' which were present in a number of communities New Hampshire Division of SecurityOne such signal was written on a paper plate. The safety division launched a photograph of the plate however blurred a part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation."
Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of prison threatening and three misdemeanor costs including false report back to legislation enforcement, false public alarm and felony threatening. He is being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a listening to scheduled for Tuesday.
No other suspects have been charged at this time.
