Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Near White House: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen car into a concrete security barrier near the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service mentioned.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the automotive about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automotive slammed right into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials mentioned.

Video reveals a silver sedan partly crumpled within the front throughout the road from a Secret Service guard post, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the road.

There have been two juveniles in the car. Both have been taken to a hospital and at the moment are in steady condition, officers stated. We do not know their actual ages.

They’re expected to face fees.

D.C. police are investigating.
