Federal agents entered Uvalde school to kill gunman regardless of native police initially asking them to attend

Federal agents who went to Robb Elementary Faculty in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday to confront a gunman who killed 19 youngsters had been told by native police to attend and not enter the varsity — after which determined after about half an hour to ignore that preliminary steering and find the shooter, say two senior federal law enforcement officials.

In accordance with McCraw, Arredondo believed there was no active threat, so instead of sending officers in, he hung out finding keys that might let him into the school.
