Family of Abducted Lady Claims Inaction of Dallas Police & Mavs in Intercourse Trafficking Case

DALLAS - A 15-year-old lady from North Richland Hills is now residence after being abducted by a person at an April 8 Dallas Mavericks game at American Airlines Center. However the family nonetheless seeks solutions, and is charging the Mavs, the AAC and Dallas Police for not acting swiftly sufficient regarding the crime, which had the lady as a part of a sex-trafficking operation.

“She was gone missing a total of 11 days,” lawyer Zeke Fortenberry said. “Our intent is that manner (the aforementioned organizations) are on notice that we’re pursuing claims against them for his or her negligence and other causes of motion.''

Fortenberry stated the teenager’s father knowledgeable police on the sport when he realized she was lacking. But, based on the legal professional, the father was instructed to report the allegations to his hometown North Richland Hills Police. 

Fortenberry claims NRH police mentioned they weren’t able to help as a result of the incident occurred in Dallas.

The legal professional stated it was the Houston-based human trafficking agency Texas Counter-Trafficking Initiative that labored to find the lacking girl, who was being held in an Oklahoma Metropolis motel.

Dallas Police told WFAA that they adopted protocol'' and that they aided North Richland Hills PD in the search.

The Mavs responded publicly on April 20, after the lady was found, the staff releasing the following statement: “The American Airlines Center (and the Dallas Mavericks) are grateful that the teenager has been discovered.Both entities will continue to cooperate with local and regional regulation enforcement on this case.''
