Household of Abducted Girl Claims Inaction of Dallas Police & Mavs in Intercourse Trafficking Case

DALLAS - A 15-year-old lady from North Richland Hills is now house after being kidnapped by a person at an April 8 Dallas Mavericks recreation at American Airlines Heart. However the family nonetheless seeks answers, and is charging the Mavs, the AAC and Dallas Police for not acting swiftly enough relating to the crime, which had the girl as part of a sex-trafficking operation.

“She was gone missing a total of 11 days,” attorney Zeke Fortenberry mentioned. “Our intent is that approach (the aforementioned organizations) are on notice that we’re pursuing claims against them for their negligence and other causes of motion.''

Fortenberry said the teen’s father knowledgeable police at the recreation when he realized she was missing. However, based on the attorney, the father was advised to report the allegations to his hometown North Richland Hills Police. 

Fortenberry claims NRH police stated they weren’t able to help because the incident occurred in Dallas.

The legal professional stated it was the Houston-based human trafficking company Texas Counter-Trafficking Initiative that worked to seek out the lacking girl, who was being held in an Oklahoma City motel.

Dallas Police informed WFAA that they adopted protocol'' and that they aided North Richland Hills PD within the search.

The Mavs responded publicly on April 20, after the woman was found, the group releasing the following assertion: “The American Airways Middle (and the Dallas Mavericks) are grateful that the teenager has been discovered.Each entities will continue to cooperate with local and regional regulation enforcement on this case.''
