Drunk driver crashes, heads straight to dealership to attempt to promote damaged automotive with lacking tire

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Police say they arrested a driver who was 3.5 occasions the legal alcohol limit after not less than 5 people referred to as 911.

Officers say the calls started coming in around 4:40 p.m. Monday.

They say witnesses reported seeing a SUV hit the median of the Lloyd Expressway close to the Most important Avenue exit. They are saying the crash brought about a flat tire and the automobile to smoke, but the driver saved going.

Other callers say the driver was all over the street and now missing a front tire.

They are saying he ultimately stopped at a automobile dealership and appeared “super drunk.”

Employees instructed police the driver, 30-year-old Jordon Mattingly, was making an attempt to promote his SUV.

Police say he had swelling and scratches as if he had simply been in a crash.

They are saying Mattingly smelled of alcohol and almost fell a number of times. Officers say he tested .291 on a transportable breath take a look at.

Police say inside his SUV, they found Four Loko cans and a can of White Claw.
