Drunk driver crashes, heads straight to dealership to attempt to promote broken automobile with lacking tire

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Police say they arrested a driver who was 3.5 instances the authorized alcohol restrict after no less than five people referred to as 911.

Officers say the calls began coming in round 4:40 p.m. Monday.

They say witnesses reported seeing a SUV hit the median of the Lloyd Expressway near the Predominant Road exit. They are saying the crash caused a flat tire and the automobile to smoke, but the driver kept going.

Other callers say the driving force was all over the street and now lacking a front tire.

They say he eventually stopped at a automobile dealership and appeared “tremendous drunk.”

Workers told police the motive force, 30-year-old Jordon Mattingly, was making an attempt to sell his SUV.

Police say he had swelling and scratches as if he had simply been in a crash.

They are saying Mattingly smelled of alcohol and virtually fell a number of occasions. Officers say he examined .291 on a portable breath check.

Police say inside his SUV, they found Four Loko cans and a can of White Claw.

Mattingly is going through a number of charges.

He is the son of the manager for the Miami Marlins and former professional baseball participant, Don Mattingly.
