A girl visiting Yellowstone Nationwide Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers said Tuesday.
The 25-year-old girl, who was visiting from Ohio, was not identified in a news launch from the park.
The lady approached the feminine bison Monday morning after it came close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, near Outdated Faithful geyser, the park said.

An estimated 2,300 to 5,500 bison dwell at the park, and they have injured extra people than any other animal, the park stated.
When the visitor came within 10 toes of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 feet in the air, the park said.
The woman had puncture wounds and other injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service said. Her situation was unknown Tuesday.
Two different folks were additionally close to the animal when it gored the girl, the park mentioned. The release didn’t say if they have been injured.
The park warned individuals to stay 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and at the least 100 yards from bears and wolves.
CORRECTION (June 1, 2022, 12:07 p.m. ET) A previous model of this article misstated the severity of the woman’s injuries. She was gored by a bison and suffered puncture wounds. She was not killed.
