The family of an 11-year-old lady who survived the massacre at Robb Elementary College in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader played lifeless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother stated the 4th grader is struggling to manage and telling them what she witnessed through the taking pictures.

"Around midnight my sister-in-law called me and she or he was simply crying, like 'I feel it simply hit Miah. I think the whole lot came to actuality now,'" mentioned Blanca Rivera.

Rivera stated Miah's trainer, Irma Garcia, was one of the two lecturers killed. Her friends and classmates have been also targeted.

Rivera said that's when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah got some blood and put it on herself so she might pretend she was dead," said Rivera. "It is too much for me to play that scene time and again, but that is what my sister-in-law mentioned is that she saw her pal full of blood and she or he acquired blood and put it on herself."

Miah was injured however taken to the hospital and has been launched.

"My brother said she had bullet fragments in her back," said Rivera.

Rivera, a mom of three, stated the household is rallying round Miah to help her recuperate bodily, emotionally and spiritually.

"At this point, we just have to wish and ask God to help us move ahead through this example, I do know it is traumatizing as it's," said Rivera.

Nearly everyone in the town of Uvalde has been touched by the loss of somebody in the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School, residents are supporting each other as they start dealing with the tragedy.
