The household of an 11-year-old woman who survived the massacre at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader performed lifeless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother stated the 4th grader is struggling to cope and telling them what she witnessed throughout the taking pictures.

"Round midnight my sister-in-law called me and she was simply crying, like 'I believe it simply hit Miah. I think all the things came to actuality now,'" said Blanca Rivera.

Rivera mentioned Miah's trainer, Irma Garcia, was one of many two academics killed. Her associates and classmates had been also targeted.

Rivera mentioned that's when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah received some blood and put it on herself so she might pretend she was useless," said Rivera. "It's too much for me to play that scene time and again, but that's what my sister-in-law said is that she saw her buddy stuffed with blood and he or she got blood and put it on herself."

Miah was injured however taken to the hospital and has been launched.

"My brother said she had bullet fragments in her back," said Rivera.

Rivera, a mother of three, mentioned the household is rallying around Miah to help her get well physically, emotionally and spiritually.

"At this level, we simply have to hope and ask God to assist us move forward through this situation, I know it is traumatizing as it is," said Rivera.

Almost everyone in the city of Uvalde has been touched by the lack of somebody within the mass taking pictures at Robb Elementary School, residents are supporting one another as they start coping with the tragedy.
