BERKELEY, Calif. - A 16-year-old boy was arrested after recruiting others to participate in a mass school taking pictures that would have included a bombing at Berkeley High Faculty, police say.
The teen was arrested Monday, when he turned himself in to police, Berkeley Police Department mentioned in a press launch. Monday was Memorial Day and there was no faculty that day.
The boy was arrested on suspicion of possessing damaging machine supplies and threatening to commit against the law which will lead to dying or nice bodily harm.
Police mentioned they received a tip on Saturday that the boy was recruiting others in plans of a taking pictures that included explosives. Following the tip, police obtained and executed a search warrant for a residence.
Police didn't say if the teen was a student at Berkeley Excessive College.
Upon executing the search warrant, police stated they discovered components to explosives and assault rifles, a number of knives, and digital items that could possibly be used to create extra weapons.
At that point, a warrant was obtained for the teenager's arrest.

"Faculty security stays a excessive precedence for the division," police stated in a statement.
Details on whom the teen was attempting to recruit were not disclosed. Police mentioned this case remains beneath investigation.
Berkeley Unified Supt. Brent Stephens advised the varsity's community that the district was in shut contact with police throughout this investigation.
After police confiscated the teenager's weapon parts, the district relied on police expertise to assess any potential ongoing risk to its colleges. The district communicated with police on the scholar's whereabouts.
